There are many ways to feel Safe at Home!
No matter what “home” looks like to you — private residence, assisted or independent living, skilled nursing facility, or retirement community — you deserve to feel cared for, respected, and safe where you live. Safe at Home Care can help.
Compassionate, Individualized Care
We provide a wide net of services for individuals who want to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle in their home. Because we are dedicated to I care, we recognize that this can look different for everyone. We can provide care at a range of levels — from as little as two hours to as much as 24 hours, depending on the needs of our client.
In order to accurately determine the best plan of action in starting care, we offer a free initial consultation with one of our geriatric case management professionals. This allows us to not only discover your needs, but also get to know you better so that we can assign the best possible caregiver for you.
Your safety and quality of life are our top priorities.
Everyone has different needs, goals, living situations, and interests, and everyone deserves to have those things met and respected! We provide a variety of services designed to meet our clients where they need us, and work to keep that care consistent and dependable.
Safe at Home caregivers will provide a variety of services, including additional household help. Living in a well-organized environment that functions smoothly and efficiently can greatly improve quality of life. The household help our caregivers provide can include:
Meal Preparation: Our caregivers are able to accommodate dietary restrictions such as gluten free, low fat, or high in fiber.
Light Housekeeping: This will be done in addition to already scheduled care, and is not exclusively provided by our caregivers.
Errands: Caregivers can go shopping, put groceries away, delivery packages, etc.
Pet Care: This can include cleaning the cat’s litter box and taking your dog for a walk.
Plants: If this meets your needs, your caregiver can water your potted plants, set your sprinklers, and even take care of light gardening tasks.
Having someone to help you navigate the ins-and-outs of your day gives you the freedom to enjoy and focus on more satisfying parts of your life. Safe at Home caregivers are trained to assist in daily care duties, ranging from small recurring tasks to larger hospital-related duties.
Medicine Reminders: This includes medication box refills done by a licensed professional.
Hospital Presence: Give loved ones time to step away and recoup.
Doctor’s Visits: Caregivers can accompany you to appointments and help advocate for your needs.
Exercise: Follow through on prescribed exercise programs with help from your caregiver..
Referrals: Caregivers are trained to refer professional medical services, should they be needed.
Documentation: Visits and appointments can be documented for family members and doctors.
End of Life: Our caregivers partner with hospice in order to ensure wishes and dignity are upheld.
While there are many ways a caregiver can provide service, personal care is one of the most basic and essential ways to feel safe and comfortable. Our caregivers are dedicated to providing these services with efficiency and respect.
Bathing: Caregivers will help you safely and comfortably take a bath or shower.
Hygiene: This includes toileting and other basic hygiene necessities.
Grooming: Your caregiver can also help with grooming needs like hair, makeup, and shaving.
ADLs: We provide help with many other Activities of Daily Living that show up in your days and routines.
While daily tasks, household responsibilities, and personal care are all important, the team at Safe at Home Care recognizes that there’s so much more to life! Our caregivers can provide all of the above services as well as help you participate in the things that bring you joy and fulfillment.
Transportation: Caregivers can provide transportation to events and appointments.
Walks: Venture into the beautiful Colorado outdoors with someone dependable by your side.
Accompany: Our caregivers can accompany you to social events, restaurant dining, the theater, etc.
Companionship: Reading, playing cards, and spending quality time are just a few of the ways a Safe at Home Care professional can provide companionship.
